Welcome to Yarnesty’s Advent Mystery 2025!
During Advent, we knit together. All you know from the start is that we’ll be knitting a pair of socks — the rest is a well-kept secret. As the weeks of Advent unfold, more and more of the pattern will be revealed. By the fourth Sunday of Advent, you’ll have a complete sock pattern — and, hopefully, a cosy new pair of socks to keep you warm!

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
4 stitch markers

1 distinct beginning-of-round marker

Small-circumference needles in a size to achieve gauge, such as:

Circular needles, at least 80 cm long
Double-pointed needles (DPNs)

Short, 23 cm/9” circular needle

CrazyTrios or FlexiFlips

GAUGE
32 sts x 42 rows = 10x10 cm in stocking stitch after blocking.
For the sample, gauge was achieved using 2.5 mm needles. Please note that I knit tightly, so you may need to go down to 2.0–2.25 mm needles to match the gauge.
