Snooker Mitts
These quick fingerless mitts are worked in a fun seed stitch-based pattern that shows off the colours of a Mountain Colors gradient kit in worsted or fingering weight. Worked in the round from the cuff up, with simple buttonhole-style thumbholes. As written, there will be enough yarn for all sizes without dividing the yarn, but you can always split each colour by weight if desired. I used the Channel Island Cast-on for my pair; a great tutorial can be found at

Worsted weight: Twizzle (85% merino wool, 15% silk; 5 mini skeins, each 45 yds), shown in colourway Plum/Brass, shades A-B-C-D-E (darkest to brightest)

Fingering weight: Crazyfoot (90% superwash merino wool, 10% nylon; 5 mini skeins, each 90 yards), shown in colour way Pale Sage/Moss Blue
US 2 / 2.75 mm double pointed needles
Gauge
worsted weight: 20 sts and 40 rnds = 4” / 10 cm square in seeded pattern
fingering weight: 32 sts and 45 rnds = 4” / 10 cm square in seeded pattern
