Smoothie
The Smoothie shawl design is very versatile and allows for multiple variations. It can be made in a single solid color resulting in a shawl with beautiful texture. You can make it in a yarn with long color repeats, which will work the magic itself. Or make a deliberate color choice by using two, three, or more colors in an order to fit your style.
However, the main purpose of the Smoothie shawl design is utilizing leftovers and turning them into a visually pleasing and beautiful accessory no matter which colors are in the leftover basket.
The method used to introduce a new color is simple, the color-switching “rules” are presented both in a table and in written instructions, and if you pay close attention to these “rules,” you are all but guaranteed to have a shawl with perfectly commingled colors!
