The “SMOKE SHIFTER” gradient blanket - modern cozy stripes

Part of a new Boy Scout’s initiation when camping is being sent to find a “left-handed smoke shifter”. Of course no such thing exists and they are led on a long and often silly “wild-goose-chase”. I designed this gradient blanket in shades of gray as a wedding gift for my step-son and his wife. Being millennials, they’ll appreciate the modern design and edgy colors. Being an Eagle Scout, he’ll appreciate the name. It is knit flat in simple garter stitch on a long circular needle holding 2 strands of yarn together.
