A smiley sweater to bring a smile to your face :)

This easy top down sweater will have you smiling start to finish. The smiley face pattern makes it fun to track your progress. The sleeves are straight which means NO double pointed needles!! (I can see your smile.)

The length of both the sweater (cropped) and sleeve (3/4) are easily adjustable if you would like make them longer.
Total length - 19” from center back neck to the bottom ribbing.
Sleeves length - 16” (3/4 length)

The sample is S size. Please note that the smiley face design is the same size across all sizes (S ~ XL), so it will look proportionally smaller on the XL size.

YARN
Any worsted weight yarn that allows you to get the correct gauge works.
Note; I do not recommend knitting looser for this sweater as the smiley face won’t appear as clearly on the stockinette stitch background.

I used WOOL & THE GANG “Shiny Happy cotton”.
Super soft, easy to knit. Highly recommended.

YARDAGE
S (M, L, XL) - 930 (1100 1250, 1400)“
These yardages are based on cropped length and 3/4 sleeve.
If you are planning to make them longer, please adjust the yardage accordingly.

NEEDLES
You need main needles and one size smaller needles.
24” or longer circular and 16 “ long circular.

Please take time to check the gauge and choose the correct needle size.
