The halo is the only ‘loose’ part which requires sewing on, the rest of the angel is worked in one piece, with only 2 thread breaks.

Making mini angels is a lot like eating potato chips- you can’t seem to stop at just one!

While the pattern is written for size 5 thread, other favorite fiber and hook size combinations would work up well, your angel would just be a different size.
