This written crochet pattern includes all the instructions needed to make your own small amigurumi fox in a sitting position.
Includes one PDF file, 12 pages.
Pattern is written in English, using US crochet terminology. I included detailed instructions, many step-by-step photos and useful tips and tricks.
SIZE
12 cm (4 3/4”) tall, when crocheted with sport weight cotton and acrylic blend and a 2,50 mm hook.
DIFFICULTY
2: Beginner - suitable for novice crocheters, includes color changes and small details.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Crocheting in spiral
- Slip stitch, single crochet stitch
- Increasing and decreasing
YOU WILL NEED
- Yarn. I used G.F Knitting ‘Soft Spring’, a sport weight cotton and acrylic blend, 125 m = 50 g (137 yd = 50 g) / 5 ply / 12 wpi / 2: light. You will need about 25 g of orange, 4 g of white and 6 g of dark brown yarn.
- 2,25 - 2,75 mm crochet hook (US size 1/B – 2/C) or according to the yarn.
- Polyester fiberfill, wool, wadding etc. for stuffing.
- 9 mm (1/3”) safety eyes and a 15 mm (3/5”) triangular safety nose or buttons, beads, felt etc.
- Yarn needle, scissors, stitch marker.
