Slipped Rib Hat
I. Love . Mohair. I wanted to have a hat that highlighted mohair on its own, not held with another fiber. This is an almost faux brioche looking fabric made with super easy slipped stitches. As with all my patterns this is a fun knit that is easily memorized. I hope you love knitting it!
Pattern Notes:
If you don’t like mohair a good substitution would be suri alpaca held single. And if you don’t want fuzzy you could use any fingering weight yarn held single.
Finished length of hat: 8” (9”, 9”)
Yarn: Dyed By Delz
Main color, Delz DK 100% SW merino 245 yds/225 m per 100g in colorway Meredith’s Grey. Used 50g in hat pictured for size 3.
Contrast Color, held double throughout, Lace Delz Mohair 72% kid mohair 28% silk 460 yds/420 m per 50g in colorway Jodi’s Cake. Used 15g in hat pictured in size 3.
