Slip
Slip uses simple slip-stitch patterns for colour and texture fun! It’s a straightforward and very enjoyable knit, and the sort of shawl that looks more complicated than it really is.
There are some cats (of course!) tucked away in the middle, and optional tassels for a little extra burst of frivolity.
It’s designed to use a 24-day advent calendar of 4ply or DK yarn, but it works very well with scraps and full skeins, too, so it’s a great stash-buster.
It comes in two sizes; the smaller one uses 24 x 40m of yarn, and the larger one uses 20 x 80m.
Gauge needed:
4ply: 22 sts and 28 rows to 10cm.
DK: 16 sts and 22 rows to 10cm.
Finished shawl:

large/ 4ply 240 cm
large/ DK 300 cm
small/ 4ply. 150 cm
small/ DK 180 cm
