This is an adult sized hat inspired by winter, children and my horses. The stranded hat has a horse pulling two sleds with children with a small dog following behind. The hat is knit on size 4 dpns with worsted weight handspun yarn. The bottom has a picot edge that folds under. The combination of the stranding, double brim and worsted weight make a warm winter hat appropriate for sledding, skiing or doing your morning barn chores. The yarn in the photos is hand spun romney (cream) and hand spun corriedale (brown).
