CONSTRUCTION NOTES
These mittens are knit with bulky yarn on smaller needles to create a warm, thick fabric. Knit from the cuff up, the thumb gusset is constructed through a series of increases on the side of the mitten while the cable motif is simultaneously knit on the back of the mitten.
