Skyfall
The coloured specks in the grey yarn in this kite shawl were inspired by coloured leaves falling from a grey sky – so Helen Reed, who hand-dyes all the Wool Kitchen yarns, named it Skyfall. Paired with a blue the shade of late summer evening skies, it blends colour and texture in a mixture of stocking stitch and garter stitch, and makes an intriguing and relaxing knit.
