Skreppa

Are you ready for a little escape?

Skreppa is Icelandic for to “take off for a little while”, so who wouldn’t like a little skreppa? This little brioche cowl is the perfect weekend getaway knit. Use up that left over yarn and take it with you on a road trip, or simply escape on your own sofa and steal some hours away for you.

It starts with a simple two colour, in the round brioche stitch to get your fingers going. Once that muscle memory kicks in, you’re off! ☺ A little branching detail at the upper edge finishes off this quick knit cowl. I’ve gone all out Icelandic on this pattern as my Skreppa is knit with the fabulously light and super warm, Einrúm E+2 yarn from Iceland.

This pattern has full written instructions together with full chart instructions, plus several video tutorials to help you work through the various brioche stitches.

Happy Brioche-ing! :)
