The shawl and name Skovbund (forest floor in Danish) was inspired by walks in the forest on a spring day. If you look closely at the forest floor you will notice the little flowers, buds and vines making their way through the dry leaves.

Construction
The Skovbund Shawl is worked bottom up while decreasing along the edges and center to create a triangular shape. The border has a 2x2 ribbing followed by a row of eyelets, then a section of flowers, leaves and flowers again before a nice and relaxing sea of garter stitch.
