Skotthúfa
Pattern in English, French and Icelandic. Also as a KIT.
Modèle en français, anglais et islandais. En KIT aussi.
This hand-knitted tasselled cap, designed by Ingibjörg Guðjónsdóttir, is inspired by the original woolen skotthúfa, used by the male students at Hólar school in the 17th century and the knitted female version. The cap is exceptionally warm and offers great wind protection. It is hand-knitted from Icelandic wool and felted to enhance wind resistance. Decorated with a modern sleeve made of stainless steel, it is suitable for both men, women and children.
