“Together, these components form a lovely ensemble; or each lends itself to separate use with other garments. Directions are for size 8 with any changes in parentheses for 10, 12, and 14. Shawl/skirt takes Bucilla Flame which is 60% acrylic and 40% wool. Skirt uses numbers 3 and 4 needles and about 8 (8, 9, 100 ounces; shawl uses number 8 needles and about 12 ounces. Pullover required numbers 4 and 7 needles and about 10 (10,12,12) ounces Color A Fleisher’s “Wool and Shetland Wool” Yarn. Fringe takes approximately 3 ounces Color B in “Wool and Shetland Wool.”
Gauge: Skirt, size 4 needles- 6 sts equals 1 inch; shawl, size 8 needles and 2 strands of yarn- 9 sts equal 2 inches; pullover, size 7 needles- 7 rows equal 1 inch.
Finished Measurements In Inches: TOP-Bustline- 33 (34, 36, 38); back at underarm -16 1/2 (17, 18, 19); sleeves at underarm- 12 (12, 12 1/2, 12 1/2). SKIRT- Waistline- 26 (27, 28 1/2, 30); hipline- 35 1/2 (36 1/2, 38, 40); lower edge- 37 1/2 (38 1/2, 40, 42.)
