SARAH HATTON has used a rustic yarn to create a sturdy, warm jumper with a slip stitch pattern around its yoke. The yarn is Ram Jam from Daughter of a Shepherd, which comes in four undyed shades. It is spun in Yorkshire using fleece from breeds including Hebridean, Zwartbles, Texel, Badgerface, and a Bluefaced Leicester-Cheviot cross.
To fit bust: 32-34; 36-38; 40-42; 44-46; 48-50 inches
Actual bust: 36; 40.25; 44.5; 50; 55 inches
Tension
18 stitches and 25 rounds to 10 cm over st st and slip stitch using 4mm needles
Additional needles required:
4mm circular needles 80cm long
4.5mm circular needles 80cm long
1 set of 4mm DPNs for sleeves
1 set of 4.5mm DPNs for sleeves
