This two color, cabled, reversible scarf uses the advanced technique of double knit cables featuring stockinette cables traveling over a reverse stockinette background! Though this technique might be advanced, fear not, a photo tutorial is included that shows how to do double knit cables. On each side of the scarf you’ll find six braids intertwining to create a scarf that’s both incredibly stylish and incredibly warm.

From the pattern: “When I first started knitting I received some really nice yarn for Christmas. Not wishing to squander the gift I found inspiration in my wedding ring, a hand braided ring made from the same gold as my wife’s. This scarf mimics those braids on one side and mirrors them on the other, like the intertwining strands of gold from which the rings were first forged, separate and slightly different but never apart. The pattern itself features a photo tutorial on creating double knit cables with negative space, full color charts, and written instructions for two different scarf lengths.”
