Sister
I named this cardigan “Sister” of Bravo.
When I taught a class of Bravo KAL, I knitted this cardigan with students. This one was my 4th one to knit… so I could not resist to keep changing the details.
The fun part of “Sister” is all the same with Bravo - top-down, big gauge, comfortable fit…
And I added many more fun details on this.
The neckline starts as same as Bravo with short-row shaping for the best fit. Yoke increase are done with a combination of Yarn overs and M1 increases.
Added 1” neck shaping for more coverage in front. No short-rows on bottom line, but decorative eyelet border to mimic the Yarn over yoke design. Sleeves are full length with longer cuffs. All the ribbing are done with 1 x 1 twisted rib for a bit more decorative look.
So which one is your favorite?
I love both :)
YARN
The sample is knitted with Woolfolk “Luft. Perfect yarn for this cardigan. The yarn keeps the shape well and so light. I highly recommend to knit with this yarn!
