I love combining simple elements in a design, in this shawl, basic stockinette and garter stitch are used with two yarns of differing colours and textures to create a whole. One at a time, and together making a single cohesive garment.

Gauge
15.5sts/20 rows = 4”/10cm in Stockinette in Yarn A. Check gauge to ensure you have enough yardage. (Personally I like to live dangerously and don’t bother swatching for shawls, but I have to put this here so that people playing yarn chicken don’t blame me if they don’t have enough yardage to finish the project.)
