Here is a simple project with trim knitted as you go and without seams. It is knitted in one piece up to the armholes, then divided to knit back and fronts separately. Adventurous knitters should feel free to substitute other stitch patterns for the stockinette stitch, but make sure to maintain gauge. Short version has ties, longer version has buttons (4) and buttonholes.
