This beginner friendly crochet pattern is worked up using Size 3/DK weight weight yarn and a 4.5mm crochet hook.

Choose a sparkly yarn to create a coverup perfect for evening wear or a fuzzy yarn for some daytime snuggles.

This pattern uses a lacy crochet stitch to create a lightweight cocoon shrug and the full stitch chart is also included along side the 2 versions of pattern included in the listing. 1 version in UK terms and the other in US terms.

This shrug is perfect to throw over jeans and a long sleeved tee-shirt, or worn over a pretty, floaty dress paired with thick tights - the outfit possibilities are endless. It’s even perfect for those lockdown days or lounging on the sofa.
