Simple Twist of Fate Cowl
Use a Merino or other soft, squishy yarn of choice to make an amazing two-tone cowl using a simple slip stitch and a half turn before grafting the ends together. Two pieces are knit flat, the ends joined with the Kitchener stitch, then the sides joined with an applied Icord (shown) or with a simple single crochet stitch. The Icord looks the prettiest but is more work (worth it, though…) The stitch is simple, the construction is what pulls it together and helps it stand up. This cowl can easily be knit in a single color and work applied Icord in a contrasting color if desired.
