For this option, we’ve updated a classic old shale stitch pattern with 2 wonderfully shaded Bernat Plentiful yarns, to create a knit blanket with depth and dimension. Using simple increases and decreases to create the shaping, the pattern repeat is worked over 18 stitches and 4 rows. The garter stitch row (simply knit) that’s worked every 4th row, gives it that distinctive raised texture. Use it to liven up a plain piece of furniture, or let it enhance bed linens while adding an extra layer of warmth.
