These toe up socks feature knit and purl chevrons on the foot that transition into a rib pattern on the leg. With an easy to work gusset/heel flap with no picking up of stitches, these are suitable for beginner sock knitters.

Originally designed for my husband and DK sock yarn they are a quick knit for larger feet. Plain enough for anyone who doesn’t like overly fancy patterns but still with enough going on to keep the attention of the knitter.

56, 62 and 68 stitch counts can be worked with fingering, sport or DK sock yarn to give 9 possible finished foot circumferences from 7” up to 10.75” (17.5 cm - 27 cm).

The chevron/rib pattern is charted only - each of the 3 stitch counts has its own chevron chart and ribbing that flows directly from it.
