This is a very simple, quick hat pattern that fits like a beanie and is very warm. It is knitted in the round to avoid bulky uncomfortable seams and would make a great first project for knitting in the round.

If you have a small head, check out our child’s hat pattern which fits a small adult too. My head is enormous and this one works for me! Both hats are designed to be snug.

You can obviously do this in one colour and save on yarn, or easily knit 2 with the two colours reversed. There is enough for a bobble too!
