We love the look of shearling--why not knit it? The vest is made in one piece, with a single strand of this bulky chenille on size 10 1/2 needles. The "fur" yarn is worked with two strands held together on size 7 needles. Be sure to measure for the head size on the hat, which is sized for a generous fit; some may prefer a more snug fit.

Requires size 7, 9, and 10 1/2 circular needles, size H crochet hook, yarn markers, and 7 fur hook closures. Also requires approximately 6 yards of a worsted-weight yarn for finishing seams.
