Silver Storm Cowl
If you put three of my patterns in your cart for purchase, the fourth pattern will be free.
Silver Storm is a very special cowl. Made with the Feel Good Yarn Company’s Silver Spun Sock, in collaboration with their Year of the Designer series, composed of 5% silver and a combination of cotton with a small amount of Spandex and nylon, it is cotton that doesn’t stretch out.
Silver Storm is incredibly soft while holding its shape, wicking away moisture while attracting heat and insulating with the silver (which is not visible; you won’t have a metallic appearing cowl.) It’s one of my favorite accessories because it creates a comfortable cloud around my neck and it looks good with almost anything. It is truly the cowl you don’t want to take off!
There are two different ways that you can finish it: Leave the rib with the garter accents (bottom two photos) or follow the directions to drop multiple stitches in a row for a slightly looser, more graphic look.
Finished Measurements
26” in circumference and 10” in height after dropping sts and wet blocking OR 24” in circumference and 10” in height if you do not drop the sts
