Silver Lake is my idea of a modern yoke sweater -- it was born out of a kernel of an idea while staying with good friends in a very remote cabin. The decor was striking -- graphic and clean, but inviting at the same time. I wanted to reimagine that weekend in a sweater. Cozy and warm, loosely fitted with wider sleeves, but still fashion forward and slightly bold. A sweater for everybody.

Finished Sizes
31¾ (35, 38¼, 41½,) (44¾, 48, 51¼,) (54½, 57¾, 61)“ bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 38¼”, modeled with 4-5” ease.

Yarn
Magpie Fibers Swanky DK (80% merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon; 250 yds /115 g): Fior di Latte MC 3 (4, 4, 4,) (4, 5, 5,) (5, 6, 6) skeins, Selkie CC 2 (2, 2, 2,) (2, 2, 2,) (2, 2, 3) skeins. Appx 700 (770, 840, 915,) (985, 1055, 1125) (1200, 1270, 1340) yds MC and 265 (295, 320, 350,) (375, 405, 430) (460, 485, 510) yds CC—exact yardage will vary!

Needles

Size 5 (3.75 mm) 16”, 29” circular (cir) and set of double pointed (dpns) and Size 3 (3.25 mm) 16”, 29” cir and dpns. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions
Markers (m); stitch holders/waste yarn; tapestry needle.

Gauge
22 sts and 30 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch on larger needles

Notes
This is a stranded colorwork yoke pullover worked seamlessly from the top down. Short rows are used to shape the neck. Sleeves are slightly wider in cut and wrist length (may be lengthened or shortened in the small dot section of the pattern.) Please note that sizes 54½, 57¾ and 61” will have an extra repeat of the large dots to accommodate the increased yoke depth and maintain pattern continuity.
