Needles: US 7/ 4.5mm or size to obtain gauge in SS; US 6/ 4.0mm or 0.5mm smaller than SS gauge needle; and US 8/ 5.0mm or size to obtain gauge in Fair Isle pattern; 24”/ 60cm - 60”/ 150cm circular in all three sizes (maximum length dependent on yoke / bust measurement), and DPNs or short circulars for neck and sleeves.

Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rnds = 4”/ 10cm over Fair Isle pattern, blocked;
20 sts and 28 rnds = 4”/ 10cm over SS, unblocked.
Change needle sizes as needed to maintain gauge over SS and Fair Isle.
