This easy sweater is worked from side-to-side – no intarsia needed for the stripes! The sleeves are picked up and knit down from the armholes. And there is a coordinating children’s pullover pattern (#148) so you and your child can match!

Sizes: XX-Small (X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, 1X, 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, 6X)
Finished Measurements: 35 (37.5, 43, 45.5, 51, 53.5, 59, 61.5, 67, 69.5, 75)“ bust; intended to be worn with approximately 3” ease
Materials: Worsted weight wool blend: 200 (225, 250, 250, 275, 300, 300, 325, 350, 350, 375) yards each A and C; 250 (275, 300, 325, 350, 350, 375, 400, 425, 450, 475) yards B; 200 (225, 225, 250, 275, 300, 300, 325, 350, 350, 375) yards D; 175 (200, 200, 225, 225, 250, 275, 275, 300, 300, 325) yards E.
Model knit in Lamb’s Pride Worsted by Brown Sheep Company (85% wool, 15% mohair, 4 oz skein = 190 yards): Color# M-181 (A), M-77 (B), M-170 (C), M-07 (D), and M-06 (E).
Needles and Notions: One pair size 8 (5 mm) knitting needles, OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE; one size 8 (5 mm) circular needle, 16” long, for neckband; one size 8 (5 mm) circular needle, 32” long (up to 40” or 60” for larger sizes), for bottom band
Gauge: In Stockinette stitch, 18 stitches and 24 rows = 4”/10 cm. Because the body of this pullover is worked sideways, it is very important that you meet the given row gauge.
