This dramatic hand dyed mohair poncho is knit side to side, one piece.
The yarn used is Fleece Artist Mini Kid and only 2 (125g / 500m) skeins were used (with some left over).
This is a very easy knit that makes the most of hand painted yarn.
Rated: easy; knit/purl, 1X1 rib, pick up sts, work in rounds for collar only
Sizes available: one size, body width between sleeve cuffs: 40”. This garment is very oversized

Approx 1000 m / 1094 yd of chunky gauge mohair yarn, or other light and airy fibre (brushed, fluffy or hairy)
Needles and notions
A long pair of needles 10 mm / US 15, circ needles 5 mm / US 8, 60 cm / 24in long (for collar only) and 6 mm / US 10, 60 cm / 24 in long for collar and sleeve cuffs (worked back and forth, straight pair could be used), large stitch holders, yarn needle (sew sleeve cuff seams)
TENSION GAUGE
10 stitches and 12 rows = 10 cm / 4 in over St st and needle size US 15 - 10 mm
