Shredder Pullover
Knitted in the round from the top down, Jennifer Hagan’s Shredder Pullover has no seams to sew: The underarm stitches are picked up and knitted as the sleeves are begun. One asymmetrical ribbed cable along the raglan sleeve line adds just a little quirky interest—and makes the entire garment completely reversible.
Finished Size: 41¼ (45¼ , 47¼ , 51, 55)“ chest circumference. Sweater shown measures 45¼ “.
Yarn: Elann.com Peruvian Highland Chunky (100% wool; 77 yd 70 m/50 g): #616 redwood, 12 (14, 15, 16, 18) skeins.
Yarn Weight: #5 - Bulky
Needles: Size 10 (6 mm): 16” and 24” circulars (cir) and set of 4 or 5 doublepointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Cable needle (cn); markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge: 16 sts and 21 rows = 4” in rib patt, after blocking; 26 sts and 21 rows = 4” in cable patt.
