This is an update of Croshay’s Boy Beanie 2.0, an open source pattern by Laura Killoran.

This version is a full tutorial, meant to leave no stone un-turned for the total crochet newbie… while also including non-standard techniques that even the experienced crocheter might learn from - such as the best way to hide a seam in the round, as well as a way of changing color that has no little bits of peek-through yarn or wrong-side loose loops, yet minimizes the number of ends to weave in.

This tutorial and pattern includes full descriptions of all stitches and techniques, video guides, stitch charts and written instructions.

Gauge: First 4 rounds = 5 in (12.7 cm) in diameter
