This lightweight scarf in beautiful undyed Scottish Merino fleece is knitted on the bias and blends textures and gentle gradient stripes to create something you’ll love to knit and wear. The scarf can be knitted in 4ply or DK yarns.
The shawl pattern is written for Uist Wool undyed Scottish Merino fleece Canach/Cottongrass 4ply yarn.
Size: 17cm/6½in (width) × 125cm/49¼in (length)
Uist Wool Canach/Cottongrass, 4ply (100% Scottish Merino Wool, 165–170m/180–185yd per 50g skein)
Yarn A: Osna/Sigh; 1 × 50g skein
Yarn B: Breac/Speckle; 1 × 50g skein
The alternative purple & grey version shown in the photos is knitted in Rowan Alpaca Soft DK. (Follow the 4ply pattern using your chosen DK yarn. Please note that the DK scarf is longer than the original 4ply version.)
