A very dainty and useful bed-wrap for an invalid, or the busy woman who, once in a while only, indulges herself to the extent of breakfast in bed, may be very quickly and easily knitted in two contrasting shades of “Shirley” Shetland Floss (150 m per skein).

Blue and pink, heliotrope and pervenche [periwinkle] blue, flame and biscuit colour, crimson and gold are all most effective combinations.

Five skeins of the colour for the outside, and four for the inside are required.

Some workers wind the two colours together and knit the wrap double, which is, of course, a great saving of time, and gives a shot effect; but if this is not convenient then use fairly thick knitting needles and cast on 80 sts.

The wrap is not only a thing of beauty, but extremely warm and comfy, an ideal gift for an invalid or anyone who suffers from cold, and a genuine best seller at sales of work.
