I was inspired to design this fun, furry, warm, cardigan by my love of live music and all things unconventional. I absolutely love it, it’s all about staying warm when you are too into the music or having fun to want to go home, but you don’t want to wear, or carry, a heavy coat. Or you’ve left the house with no set plan. It dawns on you later you’ve stayed out later than you meant to and it’s cold at night. Either way you just want to go out wearing something stylish and snug, that identifies you as exactly who you are. It’s a go to for when you want to travel light but want to be prepared for anything. The top is designed to attract attention and be worn as you like. Off the shoulder, buttoned at the top, tied round your waist. “YOUR STYLE, YOU CHOOSE!”

This super quick knit is an advanced beginner/intermediate summer knit. I have used a mix of light worsted/double knitting held with an eyelash yarn to give a furry effect. This design is for everyone, it comes in 9 sizes from XS to 5XL. This top is seamlessly knitted from the top-down starting with the back. The advantage of top-down is you can try it on as you go and choose the body and arm length depending on your preference.

It’s a top-down drop shoulder design. I’ve used a provisional cast on with a 3 needle bind off at the shoulder to make the seam stronger so it holds it’s shape, but you don’t have to. You can use a traditional pick up and knit method.
