shell-edged flower medallion
This quick-to-work motif has a six petal flower in the center that develops into a final round of twelve pointed shells. You could use just the one-round flower as a trim or as part of a corsage; in which case, work the last petal in the same way as the others, joining in the first sc before fastening off.
