Sheepback Scarf
This wrap is named after a term meaning “a rock formation caused by glacial erosion.” And sure enough, the gaps formed by cross-stitches remind us of this! The tonal, hand-dyed color gives depth and movement to this piece, and the blend of wool and silk feels wonderful.

Finished Size 15” wide and 71¾“ long.
Yarn Malabrigo Yarn Silky Merino (51% silk, 49% Merino; 150 yd 137 m/1¾ oz 50 g): #SM196 mares, 7 hanks.
Hook Size G/6 (4 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions Yarn needle.
Gauge 18 dc and 12 rows = 4” in patt, blocked.
