Sheep Cap
These sheep were originally designed for the Sheep Auction at Woolfest ’09. However, they have developed a life of their own and are now loose in the world. There are two sorts: one with curls springing from his body and another with embroidered spirals.
Basic knitting knowledge plus a certain amount of adjusting for fabric density and individuality is required.
The needle size will depend upon the density of the fabric you are creating from the yarn - I used aran yarn with a brushed mohair held alongside, but it is easily adapatable to worsted or chunky too.
You’ll need between 75g and 100g of aran weight yarn, a similar length of brushed mohair if you wish to use it, scraps of yarn for embroidering curls/mouth, and black beads or buttons for eyes.
