There is another pattern in this book with the Sheaf of Corn design, called Overtop and waistcoat for mother and daughter.

This pattern is knit starting at each cuff and increasing for the body. There is a seam down the back of the sweater.

The original yarn called for, Argyll Fluffy Chunky, has been discontinued. The other yarns are suggested in the book as substitutes.
