Pattern in English. Anleitung auf Deutsch.

POTZBLITZ! This German word is an oldfashioned and charming exclamation of surprise, wonder and wow! The compound word consists of the term „Potz“, which, as I just learned, is a corruption of the word „God“ from medieval times, and „Blitz“, which means lightning. There is a bright yellow lightning bolt zigzagging down the centre of the shawl – hence the name. The crocheted dots, reminding of rain drops and sparks, are crochted after finishing the whole shawl, so you can postpone the decision where to put them. Also the size is up to you, as the shawl is worked sideways.

ERRATA: In version 1 (v01 in the pattern name), there is a mistake on page 10. If you want to work the same stripe sequence as my shawl has, please work 74 to 76 i-cord rows (instead of 54 to 56). I am very sorry for the frustration I maybe caused … The correct version (v02) is uploaded in ravelry in April 7, 2017

Of course you can use other qualities as well as yarns with different yardage, as suggested above.

POTZBLITZ! Dieses Tuch mit seiner gewittrigen Farbkombination und dem knallgelben Zickzack-Blitz fällt nicht nur auf, sondern hält auch wunderbar warm. Die an Regentropfen erinnernden Noppen werden erst ganz zum Schluss aufgehäkelt, und auch die endgültige Größe des Tuchs legen Sie erst relativ spät fest. Die Anleitung ist so konzipiert, dass sie für jede Garnstärke anwendbar ist.

FEHLERTEUFEL: Leider ist mir auf Seite 10 ein Fehler unterlaufen. Wenn Sie die Streifenfolge meines Tuchs exakt nacharbeiten wollen, stricken Sie bitte 74 bis 76 Reihen I-Cord (anstatt 54 bis 56, wie irrtümlich angegeben). Ich bitte vielmals um Entschuldigung … Die korrigierte Version (v02) wurde am 7.4.2017 auf ravelry hochgeladen.

Ich habe für mein Tuch die handgefärbte Qualität “Merino 300” von “Bunte Wolle” verwendet.
