Shatar (Mongolian - “chess”) Vest is a modern take on a classic fair-isle vests, design to be unisex in fit and style. Traditional geometric Colorwork pattern, reminiscent of a grid or chess board, is knit in two high-contrasting colors of Fingering weight yarn. Close-fitting design can be worn with 0 up to 4 inches of negative ease, proving the fit that is tailored and perfect for layering. While the cropped version is flattering on a female body, the full length version will complement the male form. Made in a luxuriously-soft baby Yak yarn, this vest will be soft, durable, and will become a heirloom piece.
