This hat complements the Shark Hunter Blanket on page
120. The square motifs are half the size of the blanket’s
squares, but ultimately follow the same pattern. Unlike
other hats in this book, the crown is worked in rows of
decreases for simplicity. The rigid look of the squares is
maintained with the unusual seaming technique, which
alternates folding right sides together and then folding
wrong sides together before seaming with slip stitches.

GAUGE: 1 motif= 2 3/4’’ (7 cm) unstretched
