• Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport (100% superwash wool; 200 yd per 2.6ox skein), four (four, five, five, six) skeins color Manzanita #2ns
• US #4 (3.5 mm) knitting needles
• One 16-inch US #4 (3.5 mm) circular needle
• Stitch markers
• Stitch holders
• Cable needle
• Tapestry needle

Gauge: 24 sts and 30 rows = 4 inch in Floral Lace Pattern

Notes: Cable edging is worked first, then lace pattern begins in the middle of the row, working progressively longer rows to make a gently shaped, short-rowed hemline. Because the cable edging pulls in more than the lace pattern, more sts are cast on fro the hem than are decreased when beginning the lace. When working neck and armhole shapings in lace, if there aren’t enough stitches for a complete or half pattern repeat, work extra stitches in Stockinette.
