The Story
Knitters, as a collective, tend to be fairly generous folk - always knitting gifts for other people. My social media feeds are full of images of hand-made gifts for other people, especially around the holidays. I think it’s time we knitters take a couple hours for ourselves and knit something that WE can wear.

This lovely little set knits up quickly and looks fabulous. So go ahead, get selfish and shamelessly knit something for yourself! And then take selfies and post them on social media for all to see!

NOTES
This pattern includes directions for a cowl and a pair of fingerless mitts, both knit in the round, featuring jogless stripes.

The fingerless mitts are knit identical to one another. Make two to complete a pair.

Choose 1 unique marker for the beginning of round for the fingerless mitts; the 2 remaining markers may be the same.

Carry yarn colors up the inside of the cowl as you transition between stripes; this saves on yardage and ends to weave in.

Slip all stitches purlwise unless otherwise noted.

Adjust needle sizes as necessary to match gauge.

Written instructions are provided for the entirety of the projects; no charts are required.
