Shallow Waves Shawl
This is the third in a series of Wave Shawls. This shawl makes a wide shallow shawl that is more suitable for wearing as a scarf/shawl. It is worked in two colours of one yarn or it can be worked in two different yarns and colours. Only one yarn is working at any one time as you work the shawl section by section.
Each section consists of a number of short rows. The German double stitch method of working short rows has been used. The shawl is worked in garter stitch and as the shawl grows more ridges of garter stitch are worked in each section and more stitches are worked after the double stitch with each extra garter stitch ridge.
It is helpful to use locking stitch markers to keep track of the number of garter stitch ridges worked in each section as you go along.
