Published as back matter in the children’s book “Shall I Knit You a Hat: A Christmas Yarn.” The book is a story of a little rabbit whose mother knits him a hat that covers his ears and then he helps her knit hats for all their friends. This hat has ears, too!

Book calls for Filatura di Crosa, Zara yarn in four colours, one ball each. Two balls are used only to make pom-poms, so this hat actually uses far less yardage than it calls for above.

The hat is knit in the round, the ears are knit flat and seamed.
