Shadow & Glow
Shadow and Glow is a square shawl with endless wearability. This surprisingly versatile shape can be folded in half and worn as a cushy triangular shawl, wrapped around the neck as a scarf, or draped over the shoulders for a unique look. Graduated stripes in shadowy grey and glowing green play against each other in different ways depending on how the piece is worn. This is a very simple and relaxing knit, worked from the center out in Stockinette stitch with a Garter stitch border. Photos tutorials are provided for the Provisional Cast On used in the beginning of the piece as well as for the Magic Loop technique.
Shadow & Glow uses almost exactly one skein each of Anzula Cloud (80% Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon; 575 yds/526 m per 114g) - shown in Elephant - and Shibui Knits Cima (70% Alpaca, 30% Merino; 328 yds /300 m per 50g) - shown in Lumen
