CONSTRUCTION:

SEVILLA is worked flat in several directions, with the following sequence:

1.- Cast on stitches to work the central panel of the back
from top to bottom.
2.- Pick up stitches from the right shoulder to work the
central panel of the right front also from top to bottom.
3.- In the same way, pick up stitches from the left shoulder to work the central panel of the left front.
4.- The left and right sides are worked in exactly the same way, picking up stitches along the whole edge of the front and back and vice versa to work them horizontally.
5.- Join the side seams with a three-needle bind-off.
6.- Finally we finish the entire edge of the garment and
armholes with an I-cord.

And it’s ready! Time to find a nice look for it.

SIZES: 1 (2, 3, 4) (5, 6, 7) covers a range of chest circumferences from 80 to 140cm.

Final measurements of the garment at the chest in cm:

84 (95, 105, 116) (126, 137, 147)cm approx.

This top is designed to be worn with positive ease of between 2 and 12 cm approximately at the chest.
The sample shown is size 2 with positive
ease of 8cm

GAUGE: In the lace pattern 10 x 10cm gives:

23 stitches and 36 rows before and after blocking

YARN: Fingering weight yarn 180m/50g approx.

630 (720, 810, 900) (990, 1080, 1170)m
175 (200, 225, 250) (275, 300, 325)g
4 (4, 5, 5) (6, 6, 7) skeins

These amounts are approximate. The total yarn used
will also depend on the type of yarn, your gauge or any
modifications you may make to the garment.

The sample shown used MY KNITTED CLOSET The Ultra
Soft Cotton (100% cotton, 180m/50g), colour 709 olive)

NEEDLES:

• 3.5mm circular needles with a cable of 60 or 80cm or size needed to get gauge.
• 3mm circular needles with a cable of 60cm for picking up stitches.
• A third 3.5mm needle for the three-needle bind-off.

OTHER MATERIALS:

• Several stitch markers, a couple of which should be of the locking type.
• Between 6 and 8 buttons, depending on the length of the garment, of 0.8cm in diameter approx.
• A long cable with a connector or any other accessory to allow you to try on the garment as you go.
• Tape measure, tapestry needle and scissors.

CONSTRUCCIÓN:

SEVILLA se teje en abierto en varias direcciones, con la
siguiente secuencia:

1.- Montamos los puntos para tejer el panel central de la espalda de arriba hacia abajo.
2.- Recogemos los puntos en el hombro derecho para tejer el panel central del delantero derecho también de arriba hacia abajo.
3.- De igual forma recogemos los puntos del hombro izquierdo para tejer el panel central del delantero izquierdo.
4.- Los laterales izquierdo y derecho se tejen exactamente
iguales, recogiendo los puntos en toda la línea del delantero
y espalda y viceversa para tejerlos en horizontal.
4.- Unimos las costuras laterales con cierre a tres agujas.
5.- Finalmente rematamos todo el contorno de la prenda y
sisas con icord.

¡Y listo! A buscarle un bonito look.

TALLAS: 1 (2, 3, 4) (5, 6, 7) cubre un rango de contorno de pecho de 80 a 140 cm.

Medidas finales de la prenda en el contorno de pecho en cm:

84 (95, 105, 116) (126, 137, 147)cm aprox.

Este top está diseñado para ser llevado con una holgura de entre unos 2 y 12 cm aproximadamente en el contorno del pecho.

El modelo de la fotografía es la talla 2 y lleva una holgura de 8 cm.

TENSIÓN: A punto de calado 10x10cm son:

23 puntos y 36 pasadas antes y después del bloqueo.

Estas cantidades son aproximadas. El metraje total de hilo empleado va a depender también del tipo de hilado, tensión o de las modificaciones que hagamos a la prenda.

AGUJAS:

• Circulares de 3.5mm con cable de 60 u 80cm o grosor adecuado para obtener la tensión de la muestra.
• Circulares de 3mm con cable de 60 para recoger puntos.
• Una tercera aguja de 3.5mm para hacer cierre a tres agujas.

OTROS MATERIALES:

• Varios marcadores, un par de ellos de candado.
• Entre 6 y 8 botones dependiendo del largo de la prenda.
• Cable largo con conector o cualquier útil para ir probándonos la prenda.
• Cinta métrica, aguja lanera y tijeras.
